Can I make my pictures private?
Yes. If you wish to share a picture with only selected friends, start the message subject with "p " (for example, p party).
You can also edit a picture on the site, and set the Private option. Then you can choose which users can view your private photos by clicking on their names on the site to enter their profile. Towards the bottom of their profile page there is a link: "username cannot see your private pictures (allow)". Select the allow link to let that user see your private pictures in their Stream view. Note that a user must have made you a friend for this setting to appear in the profile view.
Finally, you can set the "upload as private" option on your account in your Preferences. If you set this option then all pictures that you upload will be automatically set as Private. These pictures will not be visible to any other SnapMyLife users unless you have allowed them to see your private pictures or invited them to join SnapMyLife. Note that the iPhone application has its own Setting in the iPhone Settings application to change the default public or private upload option.
